Residents
A good neighbour.
Answers for people who live and work where our robots deliver.
On your street
What is the robot doing on my street?
Delivering orders from local stores and restaurants. It drives to a stop near the customer, waits while they collect from its locker, then drives on or returns to its base.
Where and when will robots drive?
On the streets of an approved service area, at the hours and in the weather set for it. Each service area is planned with local authorities before it opens.
Will it block my driveway?
It is told where it may stop. Driveways, school gates at school times and taxi ranks are marked as places it may not wait. If one is in your way, report it and we move it.
Is it safe around children and pets?
It drives carefully, watches all around it and stops for anything in its way. Every robot has an emergency stop that anyone can press.
Living with it
Is it noisy?
It is electric and quiet. At low speed it makes a soft sound, so people who cannot see it know it is there.
Is it recording me?
Its cameras record the street so it can drive and so incidents can be looked into. Faces and number plates are blurred and sound is not uploaded. Read the privacy notice.
How do I complain or report a problem?
Use the report form. A person reads every report and answers it. If anyone is in danger, call 10111 or 112 first.
