First responders
Stopping or moving
a robot.
For police, fire and rescue, paramedics, traffic officers and tow operators.
Stop it
Press the red emergency-stop button. The robot stops at once and stays stopped.
Call the 24/7 line
The number is on the label beside the QR code on the robot. An operator confirms who you are and can park it, switch it off or send a technician.
Move it if you must
With the operator, the robot goes into push mode: the brakes release only while it is stopped. Push slowly on level ground with at least two people, never down a slope.
Leave the lockers shut
Customers' orders are inside. If a locker must be opened for safety, the operator opens it remotely.
Know the robot
Before you touch it.
Each robot's size, mass and battery are printed on its label.
- Battery
- A sealed lithium battery pack. Treat a fire as an electric-vehicle battery fire: cool with large amounts of water and keep clear of the smoke
- Crash or flood
- Do not cut into the robot. Ask the operator to switch it off; the battery disconnects
- Cameras
- The robot records video around it, with faces and number plates blurred. Recordings can be requested through the operator
